Binding and Loosing

Matthew 16:19 And I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatever you will bind on earth will be bound in heaven: and whatever you will loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (GBMV)

This is one of the most powerful promises to us as believers. We have the authority in Jesus Name to bind and loose things in this earth. We are not meant to use this against other people, but we can use it to block the works of the enemy in our lives.

To get the full power from this passage, it is necessary that you convert it into picture form. The most powerful is if you can create an active picture, like a little movie. This is something that you can both see and speak.

When you do this, the Scripture comes to life and makes more sense, and you will find it will remain in your memory to be used in the future when you need it.

You can make up your own pictures, but I tried the following which helped me, and perhaps it can help you too.

Firstly I saw myself standing with a key in my hand, looking up to heaven. And there in the sky I saw a keyhole which would allow me to use the key to open heaven.

Next I stood and faced the greatest enemy we are all facing right now - The Coronavirus, or Covid-19 that is threatening the whole world. I saw it standing there like a huge monster, growling and waving its arms in the air. It looked menacing and I was afraid to come near to it for fear of being attacked.

But then I took the key in my hand and put it in the keyhold in the heavens, and I shouted out loud, "Coronavirus I BIND you in the name of Jesus and I command you to be tied up and made powerless.

As I did that I saw a rope coming down from heaven and circling around him tying him up so tightly that he could not move anymore.

Then I saw another creature lying on the ground all tied up. I knew in the Spirit that this was the cure to overcome the virus. So once again I used my key and commanded, "In the Name of Jesus I loose the power to heal and to destroy this virus." And as I did so I saw the second creature being released from its bonds and rising up. It went to the Coronavirus that was powerless to resist and thrust a death blow into it, so that it began to shrivel up and disappear.

Now you can do the same thing with any problem that is facing you in this world right now. Take this promise from the Word and apply the principles. Bind and block the work of darkness that is standing in your way. Then release the blessing of the Lord.

Every believer has the right to take this promise and use it. Why don't you give it a try now?
