Going Higher

You have been walking as it were on a plateau where you feel comfortable and in control. And you have believed that this is what I have called you to do, so you have continued without aspiring to anything greater.

At times you have watched others rise to higher places, and you have envied them and wished that you had their calling. You have even complained to Me, and asked why you cannot also rise up higher and be like them.

But you need to know, My child, that I did not choose the road that you are walking on, and I have never restricted or limited you in any way. I have no favorites and I have not chosen greater things for some than others.

But you are limited only by the pictures in your mind and the fears in your heart. You see yourself only on the plain that you are walking right now and are afraid to reach higher.

There are many plateau’s available for you and you can rise up and move to a higher level any time you desire. But there will always be a price to pay for this, and when you are ready to step out and pay that price, there are no limitations that lie before you.

All that is needed to move to the next higher level is a season of extra effort, like walking up a steep incline. And as you maintain the climb you will very quickly find yourself rising to a new level in Me and your ministry.

Expect opposition from the enemy as you take this step but know that this will only be temporary until you reach your new goal. And I will be there standing by your side, guiding you along the way and catching you when you fall.

So stop waiting for change to take place, says the Lord. But embrace it with your whole heart and step out boldly, putting your foot on the land in faith, hope and love.

And everything that you desire will become yours.
