Read The Road Signs

Each stage of your life has been clearly mapped out, says the Lord. And just as in days gone by, the roads carried milestones indicating the distance to each destination, so I will give you signs along the way.

These signs are simply pointers to help you remain patient along your journey and to show what progress you have made along the way.

Because the road often winds and changes direction, so that you can see your destination ahead one moment, and the next, it completely disappears from view.

You may not always see your way clearly, but of one thing, you can be sure. If you are on the right road, then you will reach your destination, though at times it may feel like you will never arrive.

That is why you must pay heed to the milestones along the way to make sure that you are on the right road. Because they will soon show you if you somehow took a wrong turn.

Therefore consider the signs I have given you that I am working, says the Lord, and that you have made good progress to your destination. But be conscious also of signs that you may have made a wrong turn.

For if you made a wrong turn, then no amount of progress will ever bring you to your destination. And the only way to fix this would be to return to the point that you made the wrong turn.

Know that when you do this, I will be standing there ready to help get you back on the right road. And I will also cause you to speedily catch up on the time lost along the way.

So check your signposts, and you will know exactly where you are right now says the Lord.
