Follow The Road

The road that I called you to walk will not always be easy, but you must continue to walk the path, even when things become difficult. For there will often be windings in the road, and steep hills that you must climb.

You started out great and made good progress when you were walking a straight road or a downhill slope. But now you have begun to meet obstacles in your road and the way has started to become more difficult.

Suddenly you can no longer see the way ahead clearly, and your destination has disappeared from view. It feels like you will never reach the goal you are aiming for, and you are wondering if it is really worth it to keep going.

But you are still on the right road, says the Lord, and I am still leading you to the destination that you desired of Me. And if you continue to walk this road, eventually your vision will become clearer again and you will understand why I have led you by the path that you have gone.

So do not be discouraged, and do not look at what others are doing, for they are on a different road to you and they may not require the same experiences as you for what I have called them to do.

My plan for you is special and unique to you alone, and in the end you will be glad that you started on this road. So keep your eyes fixed on Me alone, and let me take you by the hand and help you to complete this difficult part of the road.
