Stand Tall In Him

The Lord says, My child, you have grown up as a tree in the forest, which though it had the potential to do great things, was hidden away unnoticed amongst all the other trees.

You have remained in obscurity, growing quietly in the background, but because you were small, you were not considered of great value. And you continued in your mediocre existence, losing hope that you will ever rise up and experience greatness.

But I have seen your heart, says the Lord. And I have seen your willingness to remain as nothing for Me, not seeking to exalt yourself, but faithfully doing what I have given you to do.

You watched as other trees lifted themselves up above the rest, and were noticed. You saw how they changed their appearance to become more acceptable and popular.

But you remained faithful to what I had given you, choosing to rather remain in obscurity than exalting yourself. And though you offered shade to many, and were faithful in all things, still you were considered only another tree in the forest.

But I am about to lift you up says the Lord and cause you to grow and to rise up far above the other trees. I am about to cause you to experience a sudden surge in growth, that will cause you to stand out and be noticed.

Therefore get ready now to rise up out of obscurity, and to take your place amongst those who have found their place, not through self-effort or self-exaltation, but through Me lifting them up.

For I will cause you to rise up, and those who ignored you in the past will suddenly become aware of you. They will ask, “Where have you been all this time? For we were searching for someone such as you.”

And you will reply, “I am only a tree as all the others. But My Lord has chosen to lift me up and put His seal on me. And it is only by His grace that I stand here today. For by My grace I shall do this, says the Lord.
