A New Thing

Isaiah 43: 19 Look, I will do a new thing; now it will spring forth; will you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.

I am about to do some new things in your life says the Lord. Some of these are things that you have been asking and hoping for, and they will bring you much joy and happiness.

But some may be changes that you do not expect and may not have chosen for yourself. Because you are comfortable in the things that you do, and you do not wish to do things differently.

You must trust Me in this, and know that I never do things that are against your desires or that will not bring you a blessing. But sometimes change is needed for you to come to a place where you are more able to receive My blessings.

Therefore do not resist the changes that I bring, says the Lord, for they are needed to open the way before you and to bring to you the very things that you have desired.

But lift your head and embrace the changes, knowing that they are initiated by Me and are part of My answer to your prayers. Much blessing lies ahead, and your life is about to take on new meaning.
