Climb The Mountain

Do not fear the mountain that stands before you says the Lord, because this mountain is not an attack from the enemy to block your way, but it is an opportunity that I am offering you, in answer to your desires.

You have cried out to Me to be used in greater power and to move to a new level in your spiritual life. But in order to attain such a level, you cannot continue along the same path that you have been walking.

To see things from a higher plan and in order to rise up and become more visible, it is necessary that you leave the plain and smooth road that you have been walking, and climb the mountain that stands before you.

This means that you will have to apply yourself more than you have been, and the going will become more difficult for a season, just as it is when you try to climb a mountain in the natural.

But with each step that you take up this mountain, you will come to a higher plane, and you will begin to see more than you did before. Your spiritual vision will increase and you will see more of your destination.

There is no shortcut for this because although I will continue to walk by your side, I cannot climb the mountain for you. It is something that you must choose to do yourself, and I will remain by your side to lead you and help you along the way.

As you climb, the wind will grow stronger, and the sun will become warmer, and you may think that there is no point in continuing. But if you will just press on faithfully, speaking My Word each step of the way, and seeking My face with each new level, you will move higher more quickly.

As you come to the peak of this mountain, climbing will be the most difficult of all. But when this happens it is simply a sign that you are about to reach the mountain peak.

And when you come to that place, you will look back on your journey with joy, because the vision that you will see before you will assure you that you have indeed moved to a new level in Me. And then the way before you will become plain once again, says the Lord.
