No you do not deal with a mantle by speaking with the Lord or praying

This seems to be something few picked up from my teachings

I ministered to some folks this week who had gone through my full new book

I asked them if they had said goodbye to their parents and cut those cords

They said they did

So I asked, “Did you speak to your parents in the process?”

No

They just prayed

That is like praying and asking the Lord to take away the demons that are troubling you

Few seem to understand fully what this Scripture means:

Matthew 16:19 And I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatever you will bind on earth will be bound in heaven: and whatever you will release on earth will be released in heaven. [GBMV]

Saying goodbye to Mom and Dad is a very specific act that needs to be carried out by you, not by the Lord

I tried to lead you through this in one of the first lessons

In Chapter.4 of the book I have a section entitled Saying Goodbye to Mom and Dad

Seems none of you have gone back through the lessons to remind yourself of what I taught

You do NOT do this personally if the person is alive

So it makes no difference if they are dead or alive

You are dealing with the person in your memory

where they are very much alive still

and in the actual lesson I told you what to do

This seemed to be the most effective lesson and many folks came afterwards to share they experienced a release

Why did you not do this immediately when I taught it?

Am I wasting my time teaching these things if nobody applies what is taught?

Yes Lila, this is not something new

There is only one way you can cut cords and break free from anything that is holding you back

And this is by making a choice and taking action by speaking it out loud using words

So Dinah, if you want to but the cords with your ex, you need to imagine he is standing in front of you

Then you declare out loud in the Name of Jesus

I am cutting all ties with you that were created when we were together

I refuse to be influenced by these in any way

Then you can pray and ask the Lord, “Lord please remove everything about this person from me now in Jesus name/\"

By declaring this out loud you are using the authority you have as a believer

Then you can reach out to the Lord to perform what is needed in the Spirit by His power

All of this must be done out loud as though you are speaking to the actual person

Satan cannot read your mind

you must bind and release using words spoken with authority

Authority is one or the main instruments that must be used in conjunction with a mantle

It is symbolised spiritually as a key

A key locks and unlocks

it binds or releases, prevents or allows

But most believers cry out to the Lord and ask Him to do it

I remember years ago reading an account of Kenneth Hagin in his book on visions where he shared an incident he experienced

He said that he was talking one day with the Lord, and a little monkey appeared between them making a big noise

But Jesus just kept speaking

he wondered why Jesus did not do anytning about it

Then he got fed up and spoke to the demon and rebuked it in Jesus Name

And it fell to the ground whimpering and then left

Then Jesus told him, “If you had not done that I could not have done anything about it/\"

Because I put the authority in your hands

You must use your authority or the enemy will continue to do whatever he pleases

I guess this is giving me an idea of where to go next with our teaching on mantles

I already shared earlier that I need to teach on the keys and swords of a mantle

You have been reading too much junk from other people

The so called deliverance movement used names of demons like this that have no scriptural basis at all

the only power a demon has over you is to put suggestions into your mind

Any other power comes from the spirit of a person who is allowing the demon to work through them

it is a common term used by these people

then someone you know or associated with has this in their spirit and it is being communicated to you

it is the same as the so called Spirit of Jezebel

there is no such demon

there is no demon at any level that has power over you and you can overcome in the name of Jesus

I once overcome Lucifer himself with a simple Scripture

the danger is always what these demons do through people - because the power is in the spirit of man and demons can only use that power

At the name of Jesus every knee must bow - this is the passage I threw at Lucifer and he had to bow

You have no need to fear any demon

Just be careful of your associations because people give them licence

The concept of seed faith which Oral Roberts originally introduced has some merit and Scriptural basis but it is taken to extremes by those who try to get money out of people

We do not believe or teach that tithing is an obligation to believers in the New Testament

And in my teaching Way of Blessing I show that heaven has a currency of its own

I have a full teaching on tithing which explains everything. IN a nutshell the tithe was promised by Jacob to the Lord and was a covenant obligation to his descendants - the Jews. It has nothing to do with the Church which is not Israel

Unfortunately some preachers are forced to do this to get an income or folks think they need to not expect anything for doing the work of the ministry

Jesus taught on giving as a means of sowing

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, will pour into your lap. For the same measuring size that you use will be used to pay you back again. [GBMV]

The key is the motive which has to be faith, hope and love

For God so loved the World that he gave

He sowed the biggest seed every

but if you give to get then you are not doing it in love or faith

you are doing it for selfish reasons

When you give because you love and you give in faith that God will provide, then you have given in faith hope and love

This is the only seed sowing that counts because it invests in your heavenly bank account. This is what I taught in the Way of Blessing

Just giving money without faith hope and love is like throwing your seed on the ground

and your giving does not always have to be money

The early church gave out of love not obligation

When they gave with a wrong motive like Ananias and Sapphira they died

The biggest confusion in the body of Christ is when believers go back to the bondage of the law and Israel, not realizing that God now works only with the Church, not Israel

I have not given a specific series on this, but have mentioned it in different places. Jesus was originally called only to minister to the Jews

Although the teachings of Jesus are relevant, much of what he taught was not exclusively for the new group of God’s people now known as the church

Even Jesus disciples who were Jews were ignorant of the things Paul taught

Jesus said that John the Baptist was the greatest prophet

Under the old covenant which was still there when Jesus walked the earth, there were also still prophetesses such as Anna

After Calvary the title Prophetess no longer exists

So much of what you read about in the gospels, including teaching on tithing was related to Israel and has nothing to do with the church

God’s dealing with Israel and the church must never be confused

Israel are not the bride of christ, but friends of the bridegroom

This is what John the Baptist said he was

John 3:29 He that has the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom\'s voice: my joy therefore is completed. [GBMV]

The parable of the virgins with their oil is not about the church - it was given to Israel

Matthew 25:1 Then the kingdom of heaven will be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom. [GBMV]

No man married ten women at the same time

they were bridesmaids and welcomed the bride and groom to the wedding festivities with their oil lamps

Some say that Paul was God’s choice to replace Judas but I think he was far more than that

He stood alone as the only one with the final pattern or mystery of the new church

But he did not have the pattern for the End Times Church

That is being revealed now and is part of my personal mandate

It is not enough to simply identify and remove bad mantles. This removes the obstacles to the power of God flowing out from you. But it does not encourage or increase the flow of that power.
