The first thing you need to realize concerning making withdrawals from your heavenly bank account, is that God has already deposited into your account everything that you need. 

In other words, if you need healing for your body, or food and clothing and the basic necessities of life, you do not have to make investments for those. It has been put in there for you already. 

But maybe you want to reach beyond and you want to get rich. I am not only talking about money here. I am talking about being rich in heavenly resources. 

If you wish to be rich in spiritual resources and the currency of Heaven; if you want to increase your faith, hope and love, then you must invest first.

Effort is Involved

At one time the disciples said to Jesus,

"Lord, increase our faith." 

The Lord told them about a servant who is working for His master. They come in that night and the master comes to sit down at the table and eat, and he does not say to the servant,

"You have been working hard all day so you can go and take a break." 

It is the servant's obligation to still go and cook the food, to wait on the master and serve him first. And even when he has finished doing that he does not say,

"Well that was really nice of me to do that." 

No, it was his responsibility and his obligation.

Jesus was showing that you need to make an effort and that you need to sow first. If you wish to receive faith, then you will have to invest something to receive it.

How to Withdraw

If you want your faith, your love or your hope to increase, then invest some spiritual currency and you will be able to make a withdrawal.

You do not have to only withdraw money from your heavenly bank account. You can withdraw wisdom. You can withdraw popularity or favor with people. 

You can draw whatever you need in order to function efficiently in this world and in the Kingdom of God.

You can withdraw the power and anointing of His Spirit. You can withdraw every single blessing that is available to you in the heavenly realm. 

It does not mean if you deposited money that you should get money back. It doesn't mean that if you deposited time you will get time back. You only have 24 hours and you cannot ask for more unfortunately. 

I tried that one and trust me it doesn't work. But it is possible for the Lord to make you so efficient that you accomplish far more in the time that is available to you.

Hundredfold Return

Since you have invested heavenly currency you can also withdraw heavenly currency. And here is an exciting truth. The Lord promised a hundredfold return on every investment you make in your heavenly bank account. 

After the incident with the rich young man, Jesus told His disciples how difficult it was for rich people to enter into Heaven. 

Peter said, "Wow Lord, how can anybody get saved then?" 

I get the impression that Peter was not poor. He turned to the Lord and said,

"Lord, we've given everything up for you. We gave up our businesses and riches and everything that we had." 

In Mark 10:28 and 30 it says:

Then Peter began to say unto him, Look, we have left all, and have followed you.
And Jesus answered and said, Truly I say to you, there is no man that has left house or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for my sake, and the gospel's,
But he shall receive one hundred times now in this life - houses and brethren and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions - and in the age to come eternal life.

There is a hundredfold return on every investment that you make into your heavenly bank. But you have to make sure you invest in the right currency, with the right motive.

Also make sure that it is not something you were coerced into. Do not give with a big fanfare before you and say,

"Do you know how much money I gave to the work of the Lord this month? You know what? I saw a beggar on the street and I gave him $20. Aren't I wonderful? I am such a humble servant of the Lord." 

Wrong! You just wasted your money. It was the wrong motive, the wrong spirit and the wrong currency. It will not go into your heavenly bank account. 

You have made those deposits now, and God guarantees you a hundredfold return. That is not a bad return is it? For every $100 you invest you are getting $10 000 back.

You would think people would be investing a lot more wouldn't you? You would think that people would be pouring it out. But they are not doing it because they do not know how to withdraw. 

This is why preachers always major on tithing and we have to scare people into giving. People are placed under a bondage and obligation. They are told,

"It is your obligation to tithe, and if you do not tithe you are cursed with a curse. You have robbed God, you have sinned and God is not going to bless you." 

So people give out of fear and fear is the opposite of love. The Scripture says,

Perfect love casts out all fear.

Fear is not the currency of Heaven. If you are paying your tithes out of fear or obligation you are investing the wrong currency. I am not saying you must not tithe or that you must not give. But you must not give with wrong motives. 

In the early church the people took everything that they had and they came and laid it at the apostles' feet.

They said, "We have enough to go around. Here is excess that we have. If anybody in the church has a need, let them come and help themselves." 

They pooled all their resources. They gave freely and shared with one another. They gave out of love and care and they gave out of faith. And the power of God came down on that crowd of people in power.

The Bible says,

The Lord was adding to the church daily, those who were being saved.

If you were an unbeliever in those days I think you would have wanted to join the church. Do you know why? Because the church was not saying,

"You need to come to the Lord and receive Him, and give away a tenth of your income from now on." 

No, they were saying,

"Come and let us show you by our love how Jesus is. Let us show you the gospel by our love." 

They invested in heavenly currency and gave forth in love, faith and hope. As they invested they could withdraw, not only temporally, but spiritually. The power of God was available. 

Knowing What You Want

So as you come to withdraw from your heavenly bank account, firstly you need to know what it is that you need from the hand of the Lord. 

You do not walk into a bank and say,

"I'd like some money." 

You walk in and fill in a deposit slip. You make out a check, and if you make it out wrong they will just throw it back at you.

It has to be done right. So you must know very clearly in your mind what it is that you want to receive from your heavenly bank account. 

If you have made investments and deposits into your account, you know that you have the right to come and say,

"I'm making a withdrawal now." 

If you want to withdraw things like healing that the Lord has already provided for us in His atonement, then you know it is already there. You do not need to make an investment. 

If you have made an investment in the Kingdom of God, and you have done it by giving to the poor, the Scripture says:

He that gives to the poor lends to God.

Perhaps you have made that investment by giving to a fellow member of the Body of Christ or by giving to the work of the Lord. If you have done this then you can expect a return. 

Provided you gave in faith, hope and love, you have a right to expect a hundredfold return on that investment in terms of the Word of God.

You know that you have an investment in Heaven, a hundred times as much, which you can begin to withdraw now from the hand of the Lord. 

See Him Giving it to You

What you need to is give your withdrawal slip to the Lord. You gave Him your deposit slip didn't you, and you asked Him to go and deposit it for you? 

Now you make out a cash withdrawal and say,

"Lord we need this amount. We need a new vehicle. We need a new computer and new equipment to do this ministry. 

Lord this is our withdrawal slip. We're giving it to you, and we're asking you to withdraw from our heavenly bank account." 

That is the first step you have to make. Then you should see the Lord taking the thing that you have asked for and giving it to you. You should know that what you have asked of Him, He has given to you. 

In other words you should see Him giving you the check first before you can do anything. If you do not have a check then you cannot take it to the bank to cash it can you? 

So you must know. You must by faith have reached out and received at His hand the thing that you want. 

How do you get it? Remember that Jesus is at the right hand of the Father. Jesus obtains these things on our behalf, and all we need to do is come in His name. In John 14:13 and 14 Jesus said this:

And whatever you shall ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

You see whatever the Lord gives you, He gives you from the heavenly realm. If you have asked the Lord for a new car, He says,

"Yes sure." 

Do you know where your new car is? It is up there in that other country.

It has been given to you. He has given you the keys, but you cannot drive it yet because it is there. It has to be imported. You have to get it down here. 

You say, "I wish the Lord would send it down here." 

No, you are the one who has to bring it down, and you will have to do that by means of transmutation. You must transmute or convert it, from its spiritual equivalent up there into its physical equivalent down here.
