To end off this little book, there are just 5 more ways that you can encourage the Lord’s blessing to flow in your life. They also help to push back Satan trying to mess with things.

Stand on the Promises

The first one I want to share about is the power of standing on the promises of God. These are so powerful because they will build up your faith in a wonderful way.

If you have ever reached a point of desperation in your life, you will know that sometimes you don’t know what to do or to pray. That is when you just need to take 2 or 3 promises that show how the Lord will work in your life.

Even if you are not at that point, standing on the Word is a great thing you can do each day to maintain your faith. I sometimes just take one promise and speak it out all day.

You can pray in tongues all the time too under your breath. It keeps your spirit in tune with the Lord and you will begin to get direction in your life and in which way to go.

If you don’t know many promises, then here is a challenge for you. Why not go through the Gospels, Psalms and Proverbs. By the time you are done you will have a lot of promises already that will motivate you to keep trusting the Lord and moving in His blessing.

Praise

Another powerful way to increase the Lord’s blessing in your life is by praising Him. It is important to praise the Lord every day, especially at the beginning of a prayer time. But it is more important when you are going through a tough time.

Perhaps the blessing has been flowing and has now suddenly stopped. You feel demotivated and upset. And sometimes you may want to stop doing anything for the Lord at all.

This is the time to praise Him by an act of your will. This is the time to begin to thank Him for the things that are happening in your life.

I know how difficult it is to praise the Lord during those times. But do you know how powerful it is? You see praise helps you to focus on the Lord only and to trust Him fully. And when you do this and leave your ability to solve this problem in His capable hands, He will rise up and come through in your life in a mighty way.

Don’t fail to use this powerful weapon. It will cause the blessing to flow for you. And it will also give Satan a big kick back to hell.

There is such a good example of this in 2 Chronicles 20, where King Jehoshaphat was being threatened by the children of Moab and Ammon. They came to fight against him with a huge amount of people.

Jehoshaphat and all of Judah fasted and prayed and the Lord gave them a promise that He would defeat them. The next morning when they went into battle, the King sent singers to go before the Army and to praise the Lord as they went.

The Lord made the entire group of people who were coming against Judah fight against themselves and they killed themselves. Jehoshaphat didn’t have to do a thing.

When the enemy is coming against you and trying to destroy the Lord’s blessing, use the power of praise. You will soon destroy his works and see the Lord moving powerfully in your life.

Daily Stand To

You can also use a daily stand to against Satan. My husband shares about this in one of his prophetic teachings. He got this concept from being in the military.

When he was in the Army they used to have this daily stand to at dawn and at dusk. These were the two times the enemy was most likely to attack because there are lots of shadows that he can hide in.

All they did in the stand to was all move to the outskirts of the camp and lie with their rifles ready to shoot if they saw anything moving. This meant that they covered the whole camp all around. They just watched and waited until someone gave the signal that it was okay to come back again. That was when the sun was up or had fully set.

A daily spiritual stand to is a good idea, because you can resist anything that Satan may be planning at the start of the day or the night.

All you need to do is James 4:7 and submit yourself to the Lord. Then release His blessing onto you for the day (or night). Next resist Satan and use your authority to stand against any plans that he may have. You can also pray that the angels are released to open up doors of blessing in your life.

You need to use your spiritual authority that the Lord has given to you. You have the right to bind what Satan wants to do, and loose the angels to help you in your life. Here is a good Scripture that you can stand on, from Matthew 16:19:

And I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatever you will bind on earth will be bound in heaven: and whatever you will loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

You can stand on the Word and restrict Satan’s plans to interfere in God’s blessings. If you do this daily it is a good way to maintain things going well in the Spirit.

But sometimes you may be under more specific attack and that is not enough. You may then have to get into more warfare. That is a big subject that I cannot cover here. I am just giving you the basic things for now.

The Ultimate Goal

There is one ultimate goal that you should aim for. That is to have an intimate, close relationship with the Lord Jesus, where you know Him so well that you can fellowship with Him all the time.

If you are prophetic in nature you will already probably want this more than anything else. But even if you are not, as an ordinary believer you can develop that relationship over time. You can begin to hear the Lord speaking to you more and more clearly. And you can have the best relationship in the world with Him.

When you learn to love Jesus and make Him the most important person in your life, He will want to pour back His blessings in abundance in your life. And if things are going wrong and you are under attack, if you can hear His voice He can tell you what is going on and what you need to do to bring the blessing back.

To Wrap it All Up

We are finally done with what I wanted to share with you in this little book. I hope that it has sparked off in you a desire to learn some more about what I have shared here.

I have just given you the tip of the iceberg. But if you know about an iceberg you will know that there is about 90% more underneath the water.

"I speak blessing on you in every area of your life – spiritual, mental, in physical health and financial prosperity. I ask that the angels go ahead now and prepare the way for good things to come your way.

"Satan I stand against you on their behalf now and I push you back. I command that every open door would be shut in their lives so that the blessing of the Lord can flow freely.

"Thank you Lord for showing them each area that they need to deal with so that their victory may be complete. Praise you for it, Lord."
