Delayed Answer

Sometimes the answer to our prayers is delayed, not because God is holding back, but because people are not responding to His instructions.

I’ve seen the desires of your heart, says the Lord, and I’ve heard the cries of your heart and the requests that you have made known unto me. And I have begun to work on your behalf to bring to you those things that you desire and to fulfill every single request that you have given me.

The delay that has taken place is not from me but I need to work through the agency of man in order to bring things to you, and there are those whom I have spoken to and some have heeded my voice and responded and others have not. Therefore the delay does not lie with me, says the Lord, but it lies with mankind. For everything that I do in this world is done via human agency.

And if my children do not make themselves available to me and take heed to my voice, then my hands are tied. Therefore my angels are at work now to bring certain pressures and influences on those who are holding up the flow. And I will eventually bring to you the things that you desire.

Therefore keep your faith out in the field, says the Lord, and do not give up hope for I have not neglected you and I have not refused you. Only be faithful to continue to trust me and to praise me and wait, and you will pretty soon see the manifestation of every single thing that you’ve asked me. And I will provide it in the best ways that are available to me at this time.

So do not try to determine yourself how the answer will come, and do not look for the answer to come specifically in certain directions or from certain sources, because I have to use different sources at times in order to accomplish these things.

But trust me, says the Lord, because I do care about you and I will fulfill every single thing that concerns you.
